Position: Human Resource Officer
Location: Board’s Secretariat, National Agricultural Research Extension Institute (NAREI) Compound, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara
About Us: The Ministry of Agriculture’s Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Board operates under the Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Act and its Regulations. The Board oversees the importation, distribution, sale, use, storage, and disposal of all pesticides and toxic chemicals. We are currently seeking a dynamic, competent, and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resource Officer.
Key Responsibilities: The Human Resource Officer will play a pivotal role in providing timely, accurate advice, information, and support to management and staff on a range of Human Resources (HR) management related policies, procedures, systems, and issues. Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting, writing, and presentation skills
Remuneration: A competitive salary package will be offered for this position, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and is negotiable.
