Heermattie Dharamdai has been sentenced to three years in prison and fined $83,250 after pleading guilty to a cocaine trafficking charge at the Weldaad Magistrate’s Court.

Appearing before Magistrate Shivani Lallram, Dharamdai faced charges related to the possession of narcotics. She admitted to possessing 55.5 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Following her confession, Magistrate Lallram imposed a custodial sentence of three years along with the monetary fine. This case underscores ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
