Inews Guyana Reports : A 27-year-old man lost his life in the early hours of Sunday morning following a vehicular collision at Haslington “Turn,” East Coast Demerara.
Dead is Keshon Arthur of Mahaica, East Coast Demerara.
According to information received, Arthur had attended the Me You and R&B show at the National Park in Georgetown with friends and was making his way home when the tragedy struck. Reports indicate he had dropped his friends off at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, at around 04:00 hours before continuing toward Mahaica.
Arthur’s vehicle was subsequently involved in a collision with another motorcar in the vicinity of Haslington “Turn.” The exact circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. Police and emergency responders arrived on the scene, where Arthur was pronounced dead.
Information reaching Inews publication suggests that other persons were also injured in the accident.
Investigations are ongoing.
