Family Seeks Help in Locating Missing Grandfather After Hospital Discharge

News

Oneisha Thomas is pleading for assistance in locating her grandfather, who has been missing since his discharge from the Georgetown Public Hospital. The elderly man traveled from Mahdia to the capital for medical treatment on August 27, and concerns have grown since his family received no further updates from the hospital.

On August 30, a nurse from the hospital informed Thomas’s mother that her grandfather had been discharged. Unable to pick him up personally, Thomas’s mother requested that he be sent to the Amerindian Hostel until she could arrange for his return home. The nurse agreed to this arrangement and promised to follow up with further information.

However, since that conversation, the family has not received any communication from the hospital regarding his whereabouts. “We are very worried and just want to know that he is safe,” Thomas stated, urging anyone with information about her grandfather to reach out.

Anyone who may have seen him or has information about his location is encouraged to contact Oneisha Thomas at 662-6428. The family hopes for a swift resolution to this distressing situation.
