Police have confirmed that one individual is in custody in connection with the shooting of Lolita Callender, known as Lola Doll. In a statement released this morning, authorities indicated that the arrested person is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
The shooting occurred late last night, as Callender was shot multiple times outside her home in Texas Square, East Ruimveldt. She was quickly rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she is currently in critical condition, receiving medical attention for gunshot wounds to her neck, face, hands, and right leg.
Initial police reports state that the incident happened around 11:35 PM, when Callender was allegedly shot in her motorcar by a male assailant on a motorcycle. Law enforcement is actively pursuing leads, including reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
