Dexter Agrian, a 41-year-old excavator operator from Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo, was arrested on September 11, 2025, and charged with murder in connection with the death of 38-year-old gold miner Mark Benn, known as ‘Tattoo.’
Agrian appeared before His Worship Teriq Mohammed at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, where the murder charge was read to him. He was not required to plead and was remanded to prison until October 30, 2025, for the continuation of the case.
The alleged murder occurred at Big Mara Mara Backdam, Middle Mazaruni River, on the same day
