Kaieteur News Reports : Dwayne Quacy Robertson, a 45-year-old father of six, was found dead just days after being reported missing in Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara. His body was discovered at the Nabaclis Side-line Dam, concealed in high grass.
Robertson was last seen on Sunday evening, and his family reported him missing the following day. His sister, Tamica Glasgow, described him as acting strangely before he vanished, mentioning he had fallen and hit his head earlier that night.
Despite searching various locations based on reports from others, his family found him at a spot that seemed easily accessible during their earlier searches. Glasgow noted that his body appeared placed there, with signs of trauma and money still in his hand.
She also revealed that Robertson had been threatened by a local man, raising concerns about the police’s lack of action despite previous reports of these threats. Regional Commander Khali Pareshram stated that the police are investigating the case.
