
President Dr. Irfaan Ali announced the launch of the new Public Service Upskilling Platform, aimed at enhancing the skills of public servants and strengthening the nation’s competitive future.
Speaking at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, the Head of State emphasized the government’s commitment to developing a public service that is agile, results-driven, accountable, transparent, and efficient, supported by skilled human capital and technology.
The programme, executed in collaboration with Coursera, will provide every public servant in Guyana access to over 100 curated courses designed to help them excel in their roles. Course offerings include Customer Service, Project Management, Technical Writing, Managerial Training, Data Analysis, Website Development, Excel (from Beginner to Advanced), and Beginner Spanish.
