Toronto-born actor Spencer Lofranco, widely recognized for his roles in the crime dramas Gotti and King Cobra, has died at the age of 33.

The news was confirmed by his brother, Santino Lofranco, in a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Thursday, November 20. A cause of death has not yet been released.

“To the legend… my brother. You lived a life only some could dream of,” Santino wrote, posting a childhood photo of the actor. “You changed people’s lives, and now you are with God. I will always love you and miss you Bear. RIP. October 18, 1992 – November 18, 2025.”

Lofranco first rose to prominence in the early 2010s after making his acting debut in At Middleton and later starring in the crime drama Jamesy Boy. His career quickly gained traction, leading to a role in Angelina Jolie’s 2014 film Unbroken, where he appeared alongside Jack O’Connell, Domhnall Gleeson and Garrett Hedlund.

His performances in King Cobra (2016) and Gotti (2018) marked significant moments in his career. King Cobra featured a high-profile cast including Christian Slater, Molly Ringwald and James Franco, while Gotti placed Lofranco opposite Hollywood veteran John Travolta.

Lofranco’s final Instagram post on November 11 showed a black-and-white image of himself, hinting at personal changes ahead. “I’m getting my face tattoo burned out… The best is yet to come,” he captioned.
