Big Smith News Watch Reports | A 28-year-old contractor from Amelia’s Ward, Martin Fraser, has been remanded to prison following charges of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Fraser, of Castello Avenue in Central Amelia’s Ward, was accused of possessing an unlicensed firearm and matching rounds on December 1, 2025. The charges were filed under Section 16(2)(a) of the Firearm Act, Chapter 16:05.
He appeared before Her Worship Rushelle Liverpool at the Linden Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, December 4, at 10:20 AM, where the charges were presented. Fraser pleaded not guilty to both accusations.
Bail was denied, and he has been remanded to prison. The case is set to be reviewed on January 8, 2026.
