Raywattie Khemraj, also known as Annie, a 43-year-old businesswoman, has been charged with malicious damage to property following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Khemraj appeared in Sparendaam Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 9:10 AM. The charge, which violates Section 160 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01, was read to her.
She pleaded ‘Not Guilty’ to the charges and was subsequently granted bail set at $150,000 GYD. The case has been adjourned, with the next court appearance scheduled for January 26, 2026.
