1. Job Title: Safety and Health Manager
- Location: Head Office
- Department: Human Resources Management and Development
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement safety and health policies and programs.
- Develop sectional work plans for occupational safety.
- Advise Corporate Management on improvements in safety.
- Coordinate Safety and Health Committees.
- Establish safety standards and conduct training for employees.
- Investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Procure safety devices/equipment and coordinate first aid training.
- Establish disaster preparedness procedures.
- Perform other related duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or Environmental Health.
- 5 years’ experience in Safety and Health management.
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager.
- Good knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act and Standards.
2. Job Title: Project Accountant
- Location: Head Office
- Department: Finance
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain project accounting and disbursement system.
- Process payments to Contractors.
- Liaise with co-financiers and government entities.
- Prepare project budgets and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with finance-related covenants.
- Provide accurate project financial information.
- Liaise with auditors for year-end statements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA Qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 years’ experience, preferably in project accounting.
- Competency in financial reporting and budget management.
3. Job Title: Assistant Project Accountant
- Location: Head Office
- Department: Finance
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify and process payments.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases.
- Liaise with Project Accountant and auditors.
- Handle queries and reconcile accounts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA Level 1 or Diploma in Accountancy.
- 3 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
4. Job Title: Procurement Officer
- Location: Head Office
- Department: Procurement
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement process for operational goods and services.
- Verify requisitions and assign to buyers.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical materials.
- Maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets.
- Liaise with co-financiers and prepare financial statements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
5. Job Title: Accounts Clerk
- Location: Head Office
- Department: Finance
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign codes to accounting system.
- Prepare withdrawal/disbursement applications.
- Reconcile work in progress accounts and bank statements.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Maintain project documents and perform related duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CXC or GCE ‘O’ level examinations with acceptable grades.
- AAT Level II or CAT.
- 2 years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment.
