The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) has officially launched its new website, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing digital transformation efforts. The launch ceremony took place on Monday at the GPHC Resource Centre, highlighting the institution’s commitment to transparency, innovation, and patient-centered care.

The website serves as GPHC’s digital front door, providing patients, students, and the public with easy access to accurate and timely information. Key features of the site include the ability to register online, book appointments, and access educational resources, all of which aim to reduce wait times and improve patient flow. Additionally, the site offers detailed information on hospital services, departments, and the latest news updates.
Chief Executive Officer Robbie Rambarran emphasized that the platform is part of ongoing initiatives to enhance communication with patients and families. “In today’s digital age, timely and clear information is essential for effective healthcare delivery,” he stated.
Communications Manager Stacy Peters highlighted the website’s role in bridging longstanding information gaps, noting that it provides a centralized and reliable source for the public. The website was developed in partnership with Fiscal Frontier, a woman-owned firm, underscoring GPHC’s dedication to local expertise and patient-centered innovation.
The launch marks the first phase of a broader vision for digital healthcare at GPHC, with plans to introduce interactive features and expanded e-health services across all branches. This initiative positions GPHC as a regional leader in healthcare innovation, reinforcing its aim to provide accessible, efficient, and patient-focused care.
The new website is now live and can be accessed at gphc.gov.gy.
