News Source Guyana Reports | Ron Singh, a businessman from Linden, has expressed his outrage and confusion following the issuance of a wanted bulletin by the Guyana Police Force for Teon Allen, the man he credits with saving his life during a recent drive-by shooting incident.

In a video statement posted on Facebook, Singh clarified that it was Allen who pulled him to safety when gunfire erupted outside his business in Amelia’s Ward last November. He expressed disbelief that the police have focused their attention on Allen instead of identifying the actual shooter.
“Today, the Guyana Police Force issued a wanted bulletin for Teon Allen, aka ‘Spoil Child,’ but I am here to tell you that if it wasn’t for him, I would have been dead,” Singh stated. “I gave a statement to the Police identifying the shooter, so I question why a bulletin was issued for the wrong person.”
At the time of the shooting, Singh was outside his business with Allen and another individual when a car approached and opened fire. Singh sustained gunshot wounds and underwent emergency surgery but has since fully recovered.
Singh conveyed his shock at the police’s actions, emphasizing the need for accountability. “If a victim gives you a statement, why issue a wanted bulletin for the wrong person? I urge the higher-ups in the Guyana Police Force to investigate this thoroughly.”
He indicated that he suspects Allen, who has a history of legal troubles, may have been the intended target of the drive-by shooting. Singh has also appealed to international embassies, including those of the U.S., Canada, and the UK, to look into what he perceives as corruption within the Guyana Police Force.
“Someone who saved you cannot be your killer,” Singh argued. “This situation smells very fishy, and something is off. I want the Police to investigate this matter properly and focus on finding the actual shooter.”
The incident remains under investigation, and Singh is calling for a thorough examination to ensure justice is served.
