Eric David, a 23-year-old construction worker; Keegon Cummings, a 25-year-old construction worker; and Whitney Fraser, a 35-year-old businesswoman, have been charged with possession of narcotics with the intent to traffic.
The charges, which contravene the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act, Chapter 10:10, were presented to the trio during a Zoom appearance at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court on February 13, 2026, before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir.
All three defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges and were subsequently granted bail set at five hundred thousand Guyana dollars ($500,000 GYD) each. The case has been adjourned to March 27, 2026, for further proceedings.
