Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony, and Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Susan Rodrigues, visited the home of nine-year-old Tiana DeCourt’e and ten-year-old Jaden DeCourt’e, who tragically drowned earlier today in a trench in Enterprise.
During the visit, the Ministers conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of His Excellency, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, and the Government of Guyana, expressing their deepest sympathies to the grieving family during this profoundly difficult time.
Ministers Anthony and Rodrigues pledged the government’s full support to the family as they cope with this heartbreaking loss. They reassured the family that every possible assistance will be made available as they navigate this period of immense grief.
The community continues to mourn the tragic loss of the two children, and efforts to provide support are underway.
