Richard Thomas appeared at the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 2, 2026, before His Worship Mr. Clive Nurse, facing charges of Driving Under the Influence (D.U.I.).
Upon the reading of the charge, Thomas pleaded guilty. He was fined $200,000, with a three-month imprisonment sentence to be served if he fails to pay the fine.
