Fadel Shaw, 37, a laborer from Three Friends, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), was arrested after 3.2 grams of cocaine were found in his possession.
He was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and was remanded to prison.
Shaw appeared before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court last Friday, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty.
Police said he was arrested on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast. He was then remanded to prison until April 14, 2026.
