The Incident Reportedly Occurred During The Supermoto Race At The Mps Kart Revival Event, Which Got Underway At Around 6:00 Pm.

According To Information Emerging From The Race, Riders Matthew Vieira And Fellow Competitor Ravi Singh Were Engaged In Active On-track Competition When Vieira Attempted To Overtake Singh. During The Maneuver, The Two Riders Reportedly Made Contact, Causing Singh To Lose Control And Fall Onto The Track.

The Aftermath Has Drawn Sharp Condemnation. In The Footage Appearing Online, Vieira Is Seen Walking Back Toward Singh—who Had Already Been Injured—and Slapping Him While He Was Still On The Ground.

Many Supporters Of The Sport Described The Moment As “disturbing” And “dehumanizing,” Saying It Appears To Be A Direct Violation Of Sportsmanship And Race Conduct. While The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club Has Not Yet Issued An Official Statement, Calls Are Now Mounting For Disciplinary Action Against Vieira.

Some Spectators Argue That Similar Behaviour In The Past Has Led To Lengthy Suspensions, And They Warn That Failing To Act Decisively Could Undermine The Integrity Of The Sport.

“this Is Not What Motorsport Represents,” One Spectator Said. “if This Was Anyone Else, They Would Be Facing A Ban Of A Year Or More.”

Developing Story.
