A 23-year-old woman from the Meadow Brook Squatting Area, Georgetown, has been charged and remanded to prison following the discovery of cannabis, ecstasy and a cannabis-infused liquid substance at her home during an intelligence-led operation by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU).
Keyola Daniels was arrested on Wednesday after CANU ranks searched her residence and uncovered several bags containing cannabis, a rock-like substance suspected to be ecstasy, and two five-gallon buckets containing a cannabis-infused liquid substance.
The seized items weighed 63.3 grams of cannabis, 1.82 grams of ecstasy and 39.6 kilograms of the cannabis-infused liquid.
Daniels has since been charged and remanded to prison.
