A tragic accident occurred in the early hours of Friday at Number Seven Village, East Coast Berbice, Region Six, resulting in the death of 22-year-old Althea Walton, also known as Stacy, from Alexander Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
Reports indicate that Walton’s vehicle veered off the road, and her body was subsequently pulled from the wreckage shortly after the incident. She was reportedly returning from the Corentyne, where she had gone to drop off a package.
