A post-mortem examination on the body of 48-year-old Jenny Mohamed has confirmed that she died from multiple stab wounds and other injuries. The examination, conducted by government pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh on Monday, identified the cause of death as hemorrhage and shock due to multiple incised wounds, combined with compression injuries to the neck.
Following the examination, Mohamed’s body was returned to her relatives for cremation at a later date.
Police Headquarters disclosed last week that Mohamed was allegedly stabbed and strangled by her daughter and son-in-law. After the fatal incident, her body was placed in a garbage bag and discarded in a trench. The couple reportedly attempted to clean the crime scene to remove any evidence of the crime.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to gather more information related to the case.
