Press Release From Azeem Baksh Jr. (Junior Baksh)

News

My attention has been drawn to the release of a video interview in which I participated with Travis Chase. This interview was conducted on March 25, 2025, during a time when my life was in danger due to credible threats I had received from Satnarine Sahadeo, also known as “Sonna,” and his associates.

I provided the interview to Travis as a security measure, intending for it to be released only if something were to happen to me. I signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Travis Chase, stipulating that the interview could only be released in such an event or at my instruction. I never granted permission for the video to be released.

During the interview, I made certain references regarding the President’s mother and her alleged involvement in specific transactions. This information was provided to me by Satnarine Sahadeo, who was indebted to me for over $800 million. He refused to repay me and claimed that his political connections advised him not to pay.

In June 2025, I personally apologized to President Ali for the statements I made about his mother, clarifying that Satnarine Sahadeo had given me that information.

I can confirm that the information I provided in the interview regarding the President’s mother is false, and I hereby withdraw those statements. I sincerely apologize to the President’s mother. I have never given her any money or engaged in any business transactions with her.

At the time of the interview, I was in a distressed state due to threats against my business and personal safety. My intention was to have the interview released only if I were harmed. I denied any knowledge of involvement by the President or Vice President, as it is truthful that I had no such information.

I am currently consulting with my lawyers to initiate legal proceedings against the leaked video, as Travis Chase signed an NDA, and I will also take action against anyone perpetuating these unfounded statements.

Sincerely,
Azeem Baksh Jr.
(AKA Junior Baksh)
