At a public meeting in Alexander Village, Minister of Tourism, Industry, and Commerce Oneidge Walrond emphasized that the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) has upheld its promises to the Guyanese people since 2020.
She cited the new Demerara River Bridge as an example of their commitments, crediting President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s diligent leadership. “He leads from the front, displaying competence and love for the people,” she stated.
Walrond asserted that no political candidate today can rival President Ali, highlighting the difference between a compassionate leader and one without heart. “A leader with a heart gives back and increases support,” she explained, affirming that President Ali works tirelessly for the community.
