Location: Lethem Township, Upper Takutu/Upper Essequibo

Position: Community Enhancement Workers (CIIP Workers)

Community Enhancement Workers Wanted in Lethem

Key Functions:

  • Weed parapets, shoulders, and remove overgrowth from roadways.
  • De-weed, clear, and de-slit community drains and culverts.
  • De-slit and reshape earthen drains where necessary.
  • Assist in minor repairs to culverts, kokers, bridges, fences, and buildings.
  • Assist in carrying out pothole patching and cracking sealing to road surfaces.
  • Carry out routine maintenance works on community buildings.
  • Weed cemetery and crematory grounds.
  • Observe occupational health and safety practices.
  • Complete time sheets.
  • Perform any similar approved tasks.

Requirements:

  • Identification Card
  • Birth Certificate

Working Hours and Compensation:

  • 16 days per month
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 4 hours per day
  • Monthly salary: $40,000
