The Guyana Forestry Commission (GFC) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Drivers. If you meet the requirements listed below and are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

• Secondary education
• Holder of a valid driver’s license for both motor car (MC) and motor van (MV)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving
• Ability to drive both automatic and stick shift vehicles
• Good knowledge and experience of the road network in Guyana (Experience and knowledge of the hinterland roadways will be an asset)
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance will be considered an asset
• Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide a recent police clearance
