Reflecting on the tragic night of the Mahdia secondary female dormitory fire, from which Verna managed to escape, fills me with emotion. It is truly a testament to God’s mercy that she and her fellow survivors are with us today.
Verna, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you! 🎊 I know relocating to a new environment after such a traumatic experience has not been easy. The place you once called home, where you created wonderful memories, transformed into a scene of horror. I can’t even begin to understand the pain and challenges you have faced while trying to focus on your studies, but YOU DID IT! You have successfully reached the finishing line of this chapter in your life, and we celebrate this achievement with you!
Always remember that God has a purpose for you, and great things are in store. The sky is not even the limit—soar high and shine bright! I wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
