A 29-year-old barber from Sea Dam, Crabwood Creek, is in police custody after authorities discovered an illegal firearm at his place of business on Friday, June 5, 2026.
Acting on intelligence, ranks from the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) conducted a search of the man’s residence and the adjoining barber shop. During the search, which was carried out in the suspect’s presence, officers discovered a salt bag concealed under the shop’s counter.
Upon inspection, the bag was found to contain a suspected .22 caliber rifle.
The suspect was promptly arrested and transported to the Springlands Police Station. The firearm has been lodged as evidence, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
