A 36-year-old driver, Audwin Mingo, was granted bail of $300,000 on Wednesday after appearing in court facing multiple charges related to firearms, ammunition, and narcotics.
Mingo, a resident of Bamia, Linden Highway, was arrested on February 8, 2026, in Amelia’s Ward, Linden. He stands accused of possessing narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possessing a firearm and ammunition without a license.
During his appearance before Magistrate Rushelle Liverpool at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, Mingo pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was subsequently granted bail in the amount of $100,000 for each of the three offenses.
The court has adjourned the matters to March 12, 2026, for further proceedings.
