Vacancy Announcement: Housekeeper

The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Housekeeper. We prioritize candidates residing on the East Bank Demerara.

Position: Housekeeper
Location: Georgetown, Guyana

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of office spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Handle waste disposal in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Sound secondary education.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good physical condition to perform cleaning tasks effectively.
• Excellent time management skills.
