Tuffic Briglall, known as ‘Turf’, a 37-year-old taxi driver from 12 Danielstown Public Road, has been arrested and charged with Break and Enter and Larceny.
On Monday, June 16, 2025, Briglall appeared in the Charity Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke, where he was read the charges. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the amount of $250,000, with the condition that he report to the Anna Regina Police Station twice monthly until his trial.
The case stems from an incident on June 11, 2025, when Briglall allegedly broke into the dwelling house of Vishwannauth Doodnauth at West Sparta Dam and stole G$220,000 in cash.
The matter has been adjourned until June 24, 2025, as proceedings continue.
