Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ravinand Yudeshwar Bishram, a 52-year-old patient at the National Psychiatric Hospital in Berbice, who reportedly died after being beaten. Bishram had been a patient at the institution for approximately five years.
He succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment at the New Amsterdam Hospital. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
