Malcolm Browne, a 38-year-old gold miner from Belmont Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, has been charged with Felonious Wounding. He appeared at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court before His Worship Magistrate Mr. Allan Wilson to answer the charge.
During the proceedings, the charge was read to Browne, who was not required to enter a plea and was subsequently remanded to prison. The offence was committed against 53-year-old Nandal Perauad of Mahaica Bridge on November 2, 2025, at Mahaica Market.
Browne is scheduled to make his next court appearance on November 12, 2025.
