Earlier Yesterday, Friday, December 12, 2025, a welfare exercise was conducted in the Weldaad community on the West Coast Berbice. As part of an ongoing initiative to support vulnerable and elderly residents, a special Christmas hamper was delivered to Ms. Wendie Wilson, a pensioner of Weldaad Village.
The hamper, which contained a variety of essential food items and household supplies, was officially handed over to Ms. Wilson by Inspector Cort, Woman Sergeant Caesar, and other ranks from the Weldaad Police Station. This thoughtful gesture aims to provide support during the holiday season and to alleviate the financial difficulties often faced by senior citizens.
