Assistant Superintendent V. Looknauth Leads Community Engagement Initiative

On Monday, January 5, 2026, Assistant Superintendent V. Looknauth, alongside Sergeants Leacock and Nelson, as well as Woman Corporal Sampson and Woman Lance Corporal Ayling-Fraser, conducted a community engagement exercise within the Rose Hall Town Station District.

During this initiative, police ranks visited local residents and vendors to interact directly with the community, listen to their concerns, and gather feedback on how the Guyana Police Force (GPF) can enhance its services and protection efforts.

The officers emphasized the importance of community vigilance, advising residents and vendors to report any suspicious activities or individuals they may observe in their surroundings. They highlighted that timely reporting is crucial for maintaining safety and security in the area.
