Omesh Deodat, a 21-year-old resident of Atlantic Gardens, and Sebastian De Freitas, a 35-year-old resident of Earl’s Court, La Bonne Intention, have been arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
The duo was apprehended on Monday, January 5, 2026, and subsequently charged on Thursday, January 8, 2026. They appeared today at Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #2 before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs, where the charges were read to them.
Both defendants pleaded guilty to the charges and were each fined $200,000.
