Eon Martin Perreira, 49, from Meten-Meer-Zorg on the West Coast Demerara, pleaded guilty to Driving a Motor Vehicle While his Breath Alcohol Level Exceeded the Prescribed Limit. This charge followed investigations into a minor accident that occurred around 11:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, along Hauraruni on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
Perreira was arrested on the same day and subsequently charged on Friday, February 6, 2026, under Section 39(A)(1) of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 51:02.
