Big Smith News Watch Reports | Waveny Fernandes, a 63-year-old woman, is currently hospitalized following a traffic incident on Wednesday night at the intersection of David and Alexander Streets in Kitty.
Fernandes sustained facial lacerations and injuries to her arms and legs due to the accident.
Reports indicate that one vehicle attempted to overtake at the intersection, leading to a collision with another car. Unfortunately, as the vehicles lost control, Fernandes, who was walking nearby, was struck.
The vehicles involved in the incident include a Lexus owned by Sheriff Security and a Mercedes-Benz.
Authorities are conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
