Multiple sources confirm that 22‑year‑old Hoesela Harris of ‘E’ Field, Sophia — arrested following the robbery along Chappel Street — has been positively identified as the man who shot Fraser. Fraser, 27, was fatally shot in the head on December 21, 2025, at Plum Park, Sophia; a post‑mortem examination concluded the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. A 19‑year‑old man was also shot and wounded in that same incident.

Harris’s arrest came days after a high‑intensity police operation in which investigators tracked suspects using the Smart City surveillance system. Officers intercepted a black Toyota Auris along Eping Avenue, Bel Air. During that interception, a man identified as Henry allegedly drew a firearm on police, prompting an officer to fire, striking him in the thigh. Henry was hospitalised under police guard and has since been discharged.

Following Harris’s arrest and subsequent identification linking him to Fraser’s killing, investigators moved quickly to escalate the matter. Sources say Harris is expected to be formally charged with murder in connection with the December killing, in addition to facing separate charges related to the Lodge armed robbery.

Police have not yet released the full body of evidence tying Harris to the murder; detectives are understood to be finalising the case file for submission to the Director of Public Prosecutions. The matter remains under active investigation. This is a developing story.
