NCN Guyana Reports : A haunting warning delivered by a mother to her children’s father in the moments before a seven-year-old girl was allegedly killed has emerged as investigators continue probing one of the most heartbreaking incidents to grip the nation in recent memory.

The children’s father, Kirwayne Dabidyal, has revealed that 26-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Shivpersaud contacted him just hours before the tragedy, issuing a chilling ultimatum.
“She told me I had 15 minutes to reach back home or I would regret it,” Dabidyal recalled.
He told investigators that Shivpersaud subsequently made a video call showing the children appearing to be asleep, before telling him it was “too late.”
Dabidyal described the relationship as long troubled marked by repeated arguments, separations, and reconciliations. Now left to grieve the loss of his daughter, Isabella, the father said he is struggling to make sense of what unfolded.
“If I could have done anything different to save the child’s life, I would have,” he said.
Isabella Dabadial, a seven-year-old student of Cooper Primary School, died on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Her one-year and nine-month-old brother, Ethan, survived and is currently receiving medical attention. Shivpersaud remains hospitalised in stable condition under police guard as investigators continue to piece together the full circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
