The News Desk Reports : One man is dead and another remains in critical condition following a horrific accident at Hampshire Village on the Corentyne on Sunday night, involving a motorcycle and a truck.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Haresh Gopilall of Williamsburg Village, Corentyne.
The accident occurred at approximately 21:39 hours. Both male occupants of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a medical facility for urgent treatment. Gopilall subsequently succumbed to his injuries, while the condition of the second victim remains critical.
Authorities are expected to launch a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
