HGP Nightly News Reports : One person is dead and at least seven others have been rushed to hospital following a construction site collapse at Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening when a building under construction gave way, crashing into the yard of a nearby residence. Workers were on site at the time the structure collapsed.
One fatality has been confirmed, while the extent of injuries sustained by the seven hospitalised individuals remains unclear at this time.
