NCN Reports : The man who lost his life in the construction site collapse at Atlantic Gardens, East Coast Demerara, has been identified as 46-year-old Radesh Domingo, a construction worker originally from Spring Gardens, Essequibo, who had been residing in Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara at the time of the incident.
The tragedy occurred when a building under construction suddenly collapsed, crashing into the yard of a nearby residence. Several workers were on site when the structure gave way. In addition to the fatality, at least seven others sustained injuries and were rushed to hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries remains unclear.
Authorities have since launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collapse.
