Big Smith News Watch Reports : A cloud of grief has fallen over a family in Sophia, Greater Georgetown, following the death of 22-year-old Antonette Dindial, who passed away earlier today at the Georgetown Public Hospital after a heartbreaking battle with a brain tumour.

Her mother, Ronda Robertson, confirmed the devastating news, bringing a tragic end to weeks of desperate public appeals and fundraising efforts that ultimately fell short of what was needed to save her daughter’s life.
In January, Robertson had turned to the public with an emotional plea, describing Antonette as a kind, loving and vibrant young woman whose life had been upended by the illness, and expressing hope that financial assistance would allow her to undergo urgent surgery.
Members of the public responded with compassion and fundraising efforts were launched on the family’s behalf. However, despite the outpouring of support, the family was unable to raise enough funds in time. The prolonged wait for treatment and mounting medical challenges deepened their anguish as Antonette’s condition continued to deteriorate.
Through tears, Robertson confirmed that the fight has now come to a devastating end.
Antonette’s passing has left relatives, friends and supporters in deep mourning, as they remember a young life filled with promise, cut tragically short at just 22 years old.
