1. TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR

Overview: Are you detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Department Coordinator at the Guyana Football Federation Inc. (GFF). Reporting directly to the GFF’s Technical Director (TD), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Technical Department.

Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day operations within the Technical Department.
• Provide support for the GFF National Coaching and Playing Philosophy.
• Prepare meeting minutes and correspondence.
• Assist the General Secretary when needed.
• Perform additional duties as instructed by the GFF.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five CXC passes.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Fluency in a foreign language is an asset.
• Previous experience in a multi-disciplinary sports environment is desirable.

2. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Overview: Are you passionate about youth football development? Join us as a Youth Development Officer at the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). Reporting to the GFF’s Technical Director (TD), you’ll be responsible for overseeing and enhancing youth football programs across the nation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage grassroots, schools, and youth football programs.
• Recruit and monitor youth coaches.
• Promote and improve football at all levels.
• Support coach education and talent identification.
• Perform additional duties as instructed by the GFF.

Requirements:

• UEFA/Concacaf B level qualification or actively working towards it.
• Football background, ideally as a former high-level player.
• Experience in implementing football development programs.
• Proficiency in computer software applications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in staff management is preferred.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and travel extensively.

Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
