Jagdeo Sukhedeo, a 68-year-old father of two, received a new home on Father’s Day through the Men on Mission (MoM) initiative. The keys were presented to Mr. Sukhedeo by Minister Deodat Indar and members of the MoM team.

Having lost his wife, Sukhedeo is currently cared for by one of his daughters. He previously worked as a bartender for 20 years before transitioning to a role as a pool attendant and waiter. Unfortunately, an injury sustained during his last job has since affected his mobility.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Sukhedeo thanked the MoM team for their assistance through this flagship program, which is a brainchild of President Dr. Irfaan Ali. The initiative aims to support vulnerable citizens, ensuring they have access to safe and stable housing.
This gesture not only provides Mr. Sukhedeo with a new home but also exemplifies the government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.
