Mr. A. Mohamed has made history as the first presidential candidate to visit the community of Red Hill in Region 1. After concluding his outreach in the Mabaruma sub-district on Saturday evening, he traveled several miles along the Barima River to meet with local residents.

The visit was notably significant, as many older residents expressed that they had never witnessed a president visiting their village in their lifetime. Mohamed received a warm welcome from the community, who were eager to interact with him.
During the visit, villagers raised several pressing issues, which were duly noted by Mohamed and his team. He expressed gratitude for the residents’ support and encouraged them to cast their ballots early on September 1, 2025, emphasizing the importance of their participation in the upcoming elections.
