  • News

President Dr. Irfaan Ali announced that 4,600 students have already registered for Guyana’s new digital school, which aims to serve learners across the Caribbean. Speaking at the opening of the International Building Expo 2025, he emphasized that the school will foster regional integration and networking among students.

The digital school initiative is part of a broader effort to expand educational opportunities through technology. It has already been implemented in several schools, including Abram Zuil Secondary School and Vergenoegen Secondary School.

The platform includes interactive lessons, digital textbooks, educational videos, and live, timetabled sessions that allow student-teacher interaction. Additionally, it utilizes Artificial Intelligence to identify and address individual learning gaps.
