News Source Guyana Reports : As the Alliance for Change and National Unity (APNU) prepares to take its twelve seats in the National Assembly, Parliamentary lead Terrence Campbell has pledged a fresh approach characterized by robust engagement with constituents.

In a recent appearance on the party’s Nation Watch program, Campbell emphasized the importance of maintaining a connection between public representatives and the citizens of Guyana. He vowed to bridge any gaps in communication over the coming years.
“We will ensure that Parliamentarians are active in their constituencies. We will be visiting places like Babu John, Anna Regina, Charity, and Leonora. The APNU is a national party, and we will not limit ourselves geographically,” Campbell stated.
He noted that groundwork has already begun, with prospective MPs actively listening to citizens’ concerns. Campbell highlighted the need for the party to not only regain the support of its loyal base but also appeal to a broader audience.
“We will use Parliament as a platform to advance our agenda. If embraced, the people of this country will see our role in bringing relief and development, not just growth,” he said.
Expressing humility in leading the APNU’s Parliamentary team, Campbell is optimistic that their contributions can help the party recover from the “disastrous” results of the 2025 elections, where the APNU, led by the People’s National Congress Reform, lost thousands of voters and failed to retain its position as the main opposition party.
