Police have initiated an investigation concerning an incident involving a 14-year-old female student that reportedly took place on Wednesday at approximately 6:00 PM.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the teen was allegedly transported in an unconscious state to a residence in Sophia by other juveniles. She was subsequently taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), where she was admitted for medical treatment. As of now, the teenager is conscious and in stable condition.
Initial inquiries suggest that the girl was in the company of juveniles before she lost consciousness, with allegations indicating that alcohol may have been consumed.
While no arrests have been made at this time, investigators have already interviewed several individuals as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities are also actively working to locate three juveniles who were reportedly present during the incident.
